The Auto Attendant acts as your virtual receptionist, greeting callers and directing them to the right department. For example: “Thanks for calling. To speak with Customer Service, press 1. For Accounts, press 2.”
Features
With Auto Attendant you can:
- Apply time schedules to control when the Auto Attendant is active.
- Set a response time before the message replays.
- Choose how many times the message will replay before the call is redirected.
- Assign a label that appears in the caller ID, helping recipients identify the source of the call (e.g., “Sales”).
Quick Guide:
Set up Auto Attendant
- Log in at https://voip.kiwiinternet.co.nz/.
- Go to Cloud PBX > Select Number.
- Navigate to Inbound Calls > Auto Attendant.
- Tick Enable auto attendant feature on this line.
- Press Click here to record your Auto Attendant message now to record your Auto Attendant greeting or upload a pre‑recorded message in Media.
- Set the schedule for when the Auto Attendant should play.
- Assign the numbers you want to use for each Auto Attendant option.
- Optionally, set labels for each key — these will display in the caller name field.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
