The Auto Attendant acts as your virtual receptionist, greeting callers and directing them to the right department. For example: “Thanks for calling. To speak with Customer Service, press 1. For Accounts, press 2.”

Features

With Auto Attendant you can:

  • Apply time schedules to control when the Auto Attendant is active.
  • Set a response time before the message replays.
  • Choose how many times the message will replay before the call is redirected.
  • Assign a label that appears in the caller ID, helping recipients identify the source of the call (e.g., “Sales”).

Quick Guide:

Set up Auto Attendant

  1. Log in at https://voip.kiwiinternet.co.nz/.
  2. Go to Cloud PBX > Select Number.
  3. Navigate to Inbound Calls > Auto Attendant.
  4. Tick Enable auto attendant feature on this line.
  5. Press Click here to record your Auto Attendant message now to record your Auto Attendant greeting or upload a pre‑recorded message in Media.
  6. Set the schedule for when the Auto Attendant should play.
  7. Assign the numbers you want to use for each Auto Attendant option.
  8. Optionally, set labels for each key — these will display in the caller name field.
  9. Click Save to apply your changes.
